In gay neighbourhood which is fine and a cool area with good food options and great transport connections but there are some very flamboyant characters so u less you want to wake up to a man in hot pants, tank top and stilettos in your face - pick a private room!

Backpackers HomeSalta20/7/16Argentina4Cold! Ridiculously overbooked, some people paid 100ARS a night to sleep on a sofa in a freezing cold room. Large dorm rooms (in the additional building) don't have lockers, limited lighting. Cold damp sooms. They run out of bed sheets. Smaller dorms (in the main building) are much better. Breakfast was poorly managed, baskets of bread and dulce leche smeared on plates and bowls of cornflakes if you're lucky enough to get there to grab one of the 6 bowls they pour at a time. Too many people, nowhere near enough space.

Wifi is poor, toilet/shower is basic (non-flush toilet) had to ask for toilet paper every day. Noisy cleaning/tidying in a morning
Hillside InnBatad15/02/2016Philippines1I think it's the cheapest place to stay for a reason. Others left good reviews (I guess we're not the hippy traveller type) however what we experienced was far from 'perfect'... Pizza not good - not cooked. Have to pay for toilet paper 25php per roll! Disgusting toilet/cold shower. Whole hotel use 1 toilet No power sockets in rooms- pay to charge per item (25php phone, 30php camera, 35php laptop) Can get locked in room with latch outside. Bare wooden walled room. Staff not overly friendly, and can't add up (maybe on purpose) and breakfast still took half an hour to be served even though we ordered it the night before! Can't get more basic unless you're camping!

Tokyo Narita airport, Terminal 2 rest areaTokyo09/02/2016Japan1Overnight stop between flights. Big space with loads of padded seats and a tatami mat 'family area'. We slept on the tatami mat and had a decent nights sleep, it was very cold though! It's an area reserved for people with a long stop over/early flight so don't abuse the privilege by using it as a free night to sleep (security people wander through the night and we've heard of random checks of onward tickets although we weren't asked)
Ino's PlaceSapporo05/02/2016Japan4Clean place with good facilities and friendly owners (keep themselves to themselves) it's lacking atmosphere though, people seem to sit in awkward silence, could do with some music to liven it up a bit. Also, staff not there 12pm-3pm so if you want to leave your luggage you have to pick it up after and you CANNOT use any facilities after checkout...a bit strange!
